Ken Roberson is a Port Charlotte, Florida Funeral Director and Republican politician who serves as the Representative for District 71 in the House of Representatives of the U.S. state of Florida. He was first elected to the Florida House in November 2008.[1]
Representative Roberson was born in Bradenton, Florida on November 5, 1943. He attended the public schools and worked at the same funeral home as his parents as a teenager. He received an Associate of Arts degree from Manatee Junior College. He was Salutatorian at Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science, where he earned his Mortuary Science Degree. In 1975, he moved to Charlotte County, Florida where he opened a funeral home with another man. He made an unsuccessful bid for the District 72 seat of the Florida House in 2004.
